Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c. Karo syrup
- 1 1/3 Tbsp. butter (Borden)
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 (9-inch) deep-dish pie shell
Method
- Beat eggs well.
- Add sugar, syrup, melted butter and vanilla extract.
- Mix well.
- Add pecans, folding pecans into mixture.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until firm.
- Shake pie gently to check firmness.
