Ingredients
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbs. butter
- 1 Tbs. orange rind
- or
- 2 Tsp. lemon rind
- 2 eggs separated
- 3-4 Tbs. flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- or
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
Method
- Cream sugar butter and rind. Add egg yolks and cream. Alternately add flour and liquid. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture. Pour into a buttered 8x8 inch dish. Put cake pan in 1" water bath.
- Bake 350 for 54 min.
