- 1 bunch fresh spinach
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- 1 can bean sprouts
- 3 to 4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
- 1 red onion, sliced thin
- 1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper
- 1 c. salad oil
- 1/3 c. red wine vinegar
Method
- Clean spinach and partially dry.
- Add water chestnuts, bean sprouts, eggs, onion and crumbled bacon.
- Combine sugar, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper to taste, salad oil and vinegar and shake well or put in blender.
- Do not add dressing until just before serving.
