Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. filo dough
  • 2 Tbsp. cottage cheese
  • 2 pkg. chopped spinach
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 sq. Feta cheese
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • melted margarine

Method

  • Open filo dough; cut in half.
  • With one half, start layering the bottom of a 12 x 9-inch glass pan, brushing each layer with melted margarine.
  • When half is done, mix the cottage cheese, drained, chopped spinach, beaten eggs, Feta cheese and bread crumbs well.
  • Spread this filling over the bottom filo layer. Repeat with second half, brushing each layer with margarine.
  • Cut into squares before cooking.
  • Bake at 375° for 30 minutes or until top is brown.
