Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts
- 4 cups fresh spinach leaves, trimmed and chopped
- 2 tablespoons fat-free honey-Dijon dressing
- 1 ripe pear, unpeeled, cored, and thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon crumbled blue cheese
Method
- Place a heavy skillet over high heat until hot; add walnuts, and cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute or until toasted. Set aside.
- Combine spinach and dressing; toss well. Arrange spinach mixture evenly on 5 individual salad plates. Arrange pear slices evenly over spinach mixture; sprinkle salads evenly with blue cheese and walnuts.
