Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 pkg. chopped frozen spinach
  • 1 medium onion
  • fresh garlic
  • 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 8 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 loaves French bread

Method

  • Saute onion and garlic in margarine.
  • Add squeezed spinach; saute.
  • Add cheese.
  • Stir until melted.
  • Cut French bread lengthwise.
  • Spread softened margarine on both sides.
  • Spread spinach on one side.
  • Close.
  • Wrap in foil.
  • Heat until hot at 350°.
  • You can serve as open-faced or sandwich style pieces.
