Ingredients

  • -6 to 8 cups of water
  • -1/2 tsp. or less of:
  • -Allspice
  • -Thyme
  • -Rosemary
  • -Cardamom
  • -Sage
  • -Basil
  • -Bayleaf
  • -Parsley
  • -Pepper
  • -Salt
  • -4 to 6 large potatoes (peeled, chopped)
  • -1 large white onion
  • -1 tsp chopped garlic
  • -4 peeled/ chopped carrots
  • -1 cup green onion
  • -1/4 cup lemon juice
  • -1 1/2 cups peas
  • -1/3 to 1/2 cup flour
  • -1 tbs basalmic vinegar
  • -fistful or 2 cups pasta (spaghetti broken in half)

Method

  • Bring water to boil as you add all the seasonings, putting the leafy ones in first. Put in potatoes and lower heat to simmer. Add all the vegetables. Mix vinegar and lemon juice, add to pot. Separate vegetables to make an opening in the center. Pour all of the flour into the opening, stir thuroughly. Once the potatoes are just about ready, add the pasta and raise to a boil for 7 to 9 minutes. Serve.
