Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 green pepper
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
Method
- Cook bacon until crisp; remove from pan when through and break into bits.
- Add onion and pepper to bacon drippings left in the pan; cook until soft.
- Add bacon bits and remaining ingredients. Cook slowly for 30 minutes.
- Stir occasionally.
- Remove bay leaf.
