Ingredients
- 1 small onion
- 1 small green pepper
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 cans chunky tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. oregano
- Minute rice
- American cheese
Method
- Cook onion and green pepper in skillet with small amount of margarine.
- In skillet, brown ground beef.
- Add onion and green pepper, salt, oregano and sauce.
- Cook rice as directed on box. Layer rice, meat mixture and top with sliced cheese.
- Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Remove.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
- Serve with rolls.
- Makes 6 servings.
