Ingredients

  • 1 lb. spaghetti
  • 10 slices bacon, diced
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 c. chopped parsley
  • salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Method

  • Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water; drain.
  • While spaghetti is cooking, cook bacon in frying pan until crisp; drain on paper towels, saving 2 tablespoons pan drippings.
  • Beat eggs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, pepper and reserved pan drippings together.
  • Place hot spaghetti in heated serving bowl.
  • Add egg mixture, tossing well.
  • Add bacon; toss again and serve PRONTO!
