Ingredients
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. sour cream
- 4 beaten egg yolks
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 baked pie shell
Method
- Boil the raisins in the water until half of the water is left. Mix the flour and sugar well.
- Combine the sour cream, egg yolks, vanilla, cinnamon and cloves.
- Mix well.
- Add the sugar, flour, raisins and water.
- Bring to full boil.
- Add 3 tablespoons butter or margarine.
- Put in baked pie shell.
- With egg whites, make a meringue.
- Spread on pie and brown to a golden brown.
