Ingredients

  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. sour cream
  • 4 beaten egg yolks
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 baked pie shell

Method

  • Boil the raisins in the water until half of the water is left. Mix the flour and sugar well.
  • Combine the sour cream, egg yolks, vanilla, cinnamon and cloves.
  • Mix well.
  • Add the sugar, flour, raisins and water.
  • Bring to full boil.
  • Add 3 tablespoons butter or margarine.
  • Put in baked pie shell.
  • With egg whites, make a meringue.
  • Spread on pie and brown to a golden brown.
