Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 c. granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour (all-purpose)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 tsp. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Method

  • Cream margarine.
  • Add sugar gradually.
  • Add eggs.
  • Beat in one at a time.
  • Add sour cream and vanilla.
  • Sift together and add to the mixture flour, salt and baking powder.
  • Mix in small bowl pecans, granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  • Grease and flour Bundt pan. Sprinkle 1/2 of nut mixture in bottom of pan.
  • Spoon 1/2 batter over nuts.
  • Sprinkle rest of nuts over batter.
  • Cover with remaining batter.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 5 or 10 minutes until done.
  • This cake is delicious!
