Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken leg quarters
  • 8 strips bacon
  • 1 can dried beef slices
  • 1 sour cream part
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms fresh

Method

  • 1. Grease bottom of large casserole dish with butter or cooking spray.
  • 2. Wrap each piece of chicken with 2 uncooked strips of bacon, securing with toothpicks.
  • 3. Line the bottom of dish with dried beef and lay chicken on top, spaced evenly around in the dish.
  • 4. In a mixing bowl, stir in sour cream, mushrooms and cans of soup.
  • 5. Spoon in mixture over and around chicken, filling in all spaces, spreading to even surface texture.
  • 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done.
  • 7. Serve chicken with baked potato opened and sauce ladled on top. Serves 4.
