Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 4 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. salt

Method

  • Place butter in small saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and sugar.
  • Stir until melted and let cool to lukewarm.
  • Dissolve yeast in warm water (1/2 cup) in a large mixing bowl. Stir in sour
  • cream mixture and eggs. Combine flour and salt. Gradually add to yeast mixture, mixing well. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
