Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. chocolate chip morsels

Method

  • Beat egg whites until foamy.
  • Begin adding sugar gradually and continue beating until stiff.
  • Gently fold in nuts and chocolate chips.
  • Drop by the teaspoonful onto a cookie sheet, making small mounds.
  • Have the oven preheated to 350°. Place the cookies in the oven and immediately turn off the oven.
  • Leave the cookies in the oven at least 3 hours or overnight.
  • Makes about 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
