Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 1 large onion, cut up
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 1/2 green pepper, cut up
- 3/4 to 1 (11 oz.) bottle catsup
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
Method
- Brown hamburger and onion in frying pan with 2 tablespoons fat. Drain off fat.
- Add green pepper, catsup and sugar.
- Mix vinegar and dry mustard in small cup until dissolved.
- Add to hamburger mixture.
- Simmer 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Serve on hamburger buns.
