Ingredients

  • 1-1/4 qt. red peppers, thinly sliced
  • 1-1/4 qt. green peppers, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cups A.1. Original Sauce
  • 3/4 cup dry sherry
  • 4 each boneless beef top round steaks, 3/4 inch thick King Sooper's 1 lb For $3.77 thru 02/09

Method

  • Saute peppers in oil in large skillet 5 min.
  • or until crisp-tender.
  • Stir in steak sauce and sherry.
  • Reduce heat to low; simmer, uncovered, 5 min., stirring occasionally.
  • Keep warm.
  • Grill steak over medium-high heat 4 to 6 min.
  • on each side for medium doneness (160F).
  • Cut into thin slices; keep warm.
  • For each serving: Plate 3 oz.
  • sliced steak; top with about 1/3 cup of the steak sauce mixture.
