Ingredients
- 3 to 4 cloves garlic
- 2/3 c. shelled walnuts
- 2/3 c. bread crumbs
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. cold water
Method
- Pound the garlic with the salt and walnuts until well blended and creamy.
- If you like the taste of chopped nuts, just mix the chopped nuts with the salt and garlic, which you put through a garlic press.
- Add the bread crumbs with oil, a little at a time, then the vinegar and finally the cold water.
- Put enough water to make the mixture soft like a paste.
