Ingredients
- 4 c. cut up cabbage
- 2 c. chopped tomatoes
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 diced green pepper
Method
- Boil cabbage until tender; add salt before boiling.
- Butter baking dish.
- Make layers of cabbage and cracker crumbs.
- Sprinkle a little sugar and pepper.
- Add a few squares of butter.
- Add another layer of the same order.
- Add layers until the amount is reached.
- Pour enough hot milk in to cover layers.
- Bake at 375° until thick and brown on top, 45 minutes. Good served with pork.
