Ingredients
- 2 lb. (4 to 6) pork chops
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/3 c. celery, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 (8 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato sauce
Method
- In a skillet, brown pork chops in oil about 5 minutes on each side.
- Pour off excess fat.
- Sprinkle celery, brown sugar, lemon juice, mustard, salt and pepper over pork chops.
- Add tomato sauce.
- Cover; simmer on low heat for 1 hour.
