Ingredients
- 1 cup Butter Flavor Crisco
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 12 cup walnuts
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Method
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Microwave crisco for 60 seconds or until melted.
- Set crisco aside to cool.
- Beat two eggs in a large bowl.
- Add flour, sugar, walnuts, and crisco.
- Mix.
- Slowly add water and mix while adding.
- Dough should be thin, but not too thin--a little thicker than frosting.
- Add chocolate chips.
- Place heaping spoonfuls of dough onto greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes.
- Cookies will be brown on botom, but may have a shiny spot on top.
- Better to undercook than to overcook.
- Remove cookies from oven and place into freezer.
- Remove from freezer after 5-10 minutes and enjoy.
- Yields about 2 dozen 3 inch cookies.
