Ingredients

  • 1 pound Spicy Ground Sausage Or Spicy Ground Turkey
  • 4 cans (14 Oz. Size) Chicken Broth
  • 2 cans (10 Oz. Size) Diced Tomatoes With Herbs Or Garlic
  • 1 package Baby Spinach (6 Ounce Package, Add To Preference)
  • 8 ounces, weight Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded

Method

  • This recipe is simple, and easily changed to meet your personal preference.
  • In a large soup pot, cook spicy meat - whatever variety you prefer - over medium heat until browned. Try to break up the crumbles into little bits so it will move around the soup better. Drain grease if necessary.
  • Once the meat is cooked, simply add the cans of broth and tomatoes. I use different amounts each time. More tomatoes makes the soup thicker, more broth makes the soup more soupy. Make it to your liking. I use diced tomatoes with herbs, or with garlic. You can mix and match. Do whatever feels good.
  • Allow the soup to simmer for a little while or just heat and eat.
  • Once soup is hot, ladle into bowls and add spinach leaves (unless you're my husband) and sprinkle with cheese to make it extra good!
