Ingredients

  • 50 milliliters Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, Peeled And Chopped
  • 2 Medium Onions, Peeled And Thinly Sliced In Rounds
  • 300 grams Raw, Peeled And Deveined Shrimp
  • 50 milliliters Coconut Milk
  • Salt To Taste
  • Pepper To Taste
  • Parsley, To Taste

Method

  • 1.
  • In a saute pan over low heat place the olive oil, chopped garlic and onions.
  • Leave to saute over low heat until the onion starts to turn golden brown.
  • 2.
  • Then, add the shrimp along with the coconut milk.
  • Season with a pinch of salt and pepper, stir with a wooden spoon, cover the pan and cook over low heat for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Stir once in awhile.
  • 3.
  • Turn off the heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve.
