Ingredients
- 2 cans shrimp or 1 lb. fresh*
- 3 small (4 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 3/4 c. finely chopped onion
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can Campbell's tomato soup
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. gelatin
- 3/4 c. finely chopped celery
Method
- Soak gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water.
- Heat soup to boiling point.
- Dissolve cream cheese in soup (it helps if cream cheese is room temperature).
- Put gelatin in soup-cream cheese mixture; cool slightly.
- Add mayonnaise, celery, onion, shrimp, salt and pepper. Put into mold and congeal.
