Ingredients

  • 2 cans shrimp or 1 lb. fresh*
  • 3 small (4 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 3/4 c. finely chopped onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can Campbell's tomato soup
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. gelatin
  • 3/4 c. finely chopped celery

Method

  • Soak gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water.
  • Heat soup to boiling point.
  • Dissolve cream cheese in soup (it helps if cream cheese is room temperature).
  • Put gelatin in soup-cream cheese mixture; cool slightly.
  • Add mayonnaise, celery, onion, shrimp, salt and pepper. Put into mold and congeal.
