Ingredients
- 3 lb. shrimp
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 c. chopped parsley and green onions
- season to taste or use Tony's seasoning
- 1 cooking spoon oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 Tbsp. flour
Method
- Heat oil in thick iron pot.
- Add shrimp and cook only until they turn pink.
- Add tomato sauce, can of water, onion, garlic and seasoning to taste.
- Add onion tops and parsley.
- Cook very slowly, covered, for 45 to 50 minutes.
- Add a tablespoon of flour mixed with a small amount of cold water to gravy before serving. Serve over hot cooked rice.
- Approximately 6 servings.
