Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. sliced bacon
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 c. ketchup
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 (32 oz.) pork and beans
Method
- In skillet, cook bacon until crisp.
- Remove to paper towel to drain.
- Crumble and set aside.
- Brown beef and drain.
- Add onion and cook 5 minutes.
- Combine ketchup and sugar.
- Stir.
- Add to beef and beans with bacon all but 2 tablespoons.
- Put in pan; top with bacon.
- Bake uncovered at 350° for 1 hour.
