Ingredients

  • 2 c. Seven-Up
  • 2 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 1 small can pineapple, drained
  • 1 small box lime jello
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 small bottle cherries, drained
  • 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip

Method

  • Put Seven-Up in pot. Add marshmallows. Cook over low heat until mixture comes to a boil and marshmallows are well melted. Set off heat. Add jello and mix well.
  • Put in refrigerator.
  • Keep check on mixture and stir occasionally.
  • When mixture is cold and about ready to set, add pineapple, nuts, cherries and whipped cream last.
  • Mix well.
  • Let salad set for several hours.
