- 2 large bay leaves
- flour (browned)
- 1/2 lb. shrimp (per person)
- 1 large can crab meat
- 1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
- salt and pepper
- celery, chopped
- onions, chopped
- green pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 can okra
- tomato paste
- cayenne pepper (dash)
Method
- Boil shrimp (shelled and deveined) until they turn pink (with crab boil) with water well over shrimp.
- Brown flour until it is almost burned.
- Add all seasonings to flour.
- Then by teaspoon, put seasoning and flour in shrimp water with shrimp (remove crab boil bag).
- Stir constantly so it won't lump.
