Ingredients
- 3 egg whites
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- a little water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Method
- Cook sugar and water to make a syrup.
- Beat egg whites until stiff.
- Add cooked mixture slowly to egg whites, beating constantly.
- Add vanilla and cream of tartar.
- Spread on cake.
