Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 3 lb. shrimp
  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 1/2 c. chopped parsley
  • 3 to 5 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 3/4 tsp. pepper

Method

  • In large skillet, saute onion and butter until tender. Transfer to a bowl.
  • Add shrimp, olive oil, parsley, garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  • Toss together.
  • Arrange shrimp in large shallow baking pan.
  • Pour the sauce over the shrimp in the baking pan.
  • Broil 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Turn over and broil the other side. Serves 6 to 8.
