Ingredients

  • 2 c. fresh tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/3 c. dry white wine
  • 1/4 c. salad oil
  • 1/3 c. onions, chopped
  • 1/4 c. parsley, chopped
  • 2 tsp. fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. Knorr Aromat all-purpose seasoning
  • 1 tsp. sweet basil
  • black pepper
  • 1 can artichoke hearts
  • 1 lb. scallops
  • Italian bread crumbs
  • Parmesan cheese
  • vermicelli noodles

Method

  • Combine tomatoes, wine, oil, onions, garlic, parsley, Knorr seasoning, basil, sugar and pepper.
  • Cook 10 minutes or until onions are tender.
  • Add remaining ingredients and cook until scallops are cooked.
  • Turn into ovenproof dish; sprinkle with bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  • Broil until cheese is slightly brown.
  • Serve over noodles (vermicelli).
