Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 2 c. water
  • 6 c. sliced potatoes
  • 1 sliced onion, separated into rings

Method

  • Brown pork chops in oil.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Melt butter in pan.
  • Stir in flour, salt and pepper, chicken bouillon and water.
  • Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.
  • Place potatoes in bottom of 8 x 12-inch baking dish or roaster.
  • Top with onion rings.
  • Pour chicken broth mixture evenly over potatoes and onions.
  • Top with pork chops.
  • Cover.
  • Bake in preheated 350° oven for 1 hour.
  • Remove cover and bake for 30 minutes.
