Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork sausage
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed French onion soup, undiluted
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup water

Method

  • In a large saucepan cook meats until no longer pink.
  • Drain.
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat, cook and stir for 10-15 minutes or until thickened.
