- 1/2 lb. R.B. Rice's hot sausage
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 1/2 c. tomatoes
- 2 c. water
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 c. diced potatoes
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Method
- Brown and drain sausage.
- Combine all ingredients, except sausage, and cook, covered, until potatoes are done.
- Add sausage. Heat 5 to 10 minutes longer.
- Remove bay leaf and serve.
