- 2 lb. sausage
- 1 c. chopped green pepper
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 pkg. chicken noodle soup (mix)
- 1 c. uncooked regular rice
- 4 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Method
- Brown sausage and drain; set aside.
- Saute vegetables in oil until crisp-tender.
- Set aside.
