Ingredients

  • 1 lb. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb. hot pork sausage, cooked and drained
  • 5 c. dry biscuit mix

Method

  • Heat together cheese and sausage in large saucepan.
  • Stir with wooden spoon until cheese has melted.
  • Add biscuit mix and stir until smooth.
  • Cool, then chill for about 1 hour for easier handling.
  • Form into balls about the size of a nickel.
  • Place on ungreased baking sheet.
  • Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Remove and place on paper towels to drain.
  • Serve warm.
  • Makes about 4 dozen.
