Ingredients
- 1 lb. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 lb. hot pork sausage, cooked and drained
- 5 c. dry biscuit mix
Method
- Heat together cheese and sausage in large saucepan.
- Stir with wooden spoon until cheese has melted.
- Add biscuit mix and stir until smooth.
- Cool, then chill for about 1 hour for easier handling.
- Form into balls about the size of a nickel.
- Place on ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Remove and place on paper towels to drain.
- Serve warm.
- Makes about 4 dozen.
