Ingredients
- 1 lb. bulk sausage
- 3/4 c. uncooked rice
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 c. water
Method
- Crumble sausage in a skillet and cook until done; drain on paper towel.
- Return sausage to skillet, stir in rice and cook over low heat for 3 to 5 minutes, until rice is golden, stirring occasionally.
- Add remaining ingredients and simmer 30 minutes. Yield: 6 servings.
