Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 to 4 lb. beef short ribs, deboned and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 bottle Heinz barbecue sauce with onions
  • 1/4 c. orange or pineapple juice
  • 1 Tbsp. orange rind or 2 sliced pineapple, drained and cut into small pieces

Method

  • Prepare ribs in a pressure cooker according to the directions in cooker.
  • Pour off fat.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Combine barbecue sauce with remaining ingredients and pour over ribs. Cover.
  • Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
  • Baste well, bake an additional 15 minutes.
  • Serve with hot rice.
  • Serves 4 to 6.
