Ingredients
- 1 (10 1/4 oz.) can Franco-American beef gravy
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. fine, dry bread crumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 2 Tbsp. ketchup
- generous dash of pepper
Method
- In bowl, mix thoroughly 1 cup of gravy and remaining ingredients.
- In 12 x 8-inch baking pan, firmly shape meat mixture into 8 x 4-inch loaf.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
- Spoon off fat, reserving 1 tablespoon of drippings.
