Ingredients
- 2 -3 carrots, shredded
- 2 small onions, shredded
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 34 cup oil
- 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
Method
- A day ahead of time, put cabbage, carrots and onions in a large non metal bowl and chill.
- Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Pour over the vegetables, mix well.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- Drain before serving if you wish.
