Ingredients
- 3/4 c. butter flavored Crisco
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 5 Tbsp. water
Method
- Mix thoroughly the shortening, sugar, eggs, flavoring and water.
- Blend in flour and baking powder.
- Cover; chill at least 1 hour.
- Heat oven to 350°.
- Roll dough to 1/8-inch thick on lightly floured board.
- Cut into desired shapes.
- Place on ungreased baking sheet; bake 8 to 10 minutes.
- Makes about 4 dozen 3-inch cookies.
