Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 c. water
- 1 (3-inch) stick cinnamon
- 1 tsp. whole cloves
- 3 Tbsp. dry tea
- 1 c. orange juice
- 1 (12 oz.) can pineapple juice
- 1/2 tsp. orange rind, grated
- 1/2 tsp. lemon rind, grated
Method
- In saucepan, combine sugar, water, cinnamon and cloves; bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add tea, remove from heat and let stand, covered for 5 minutes.
- Strain; add remaining ingredients.
- Heat but do not boil.
- Serve hot.
- Yields about 8 cups.
