Ingredients

  • 4 large thin sliced round steaks
  • mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 dill spears
  • 1 onion, chopped or sliced
  • 4 slices bacon (uncooked)
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. flour

Method

  • Spread mustard on each steak.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Lay slice of bacon on each steak, then onion and one dill spear per steak.
  • Roll up tight and secure with toothpick or sewing thread. Saute in fat on all sides.
  • Add water and cook until tender. Thicken juices with flour to thicken for gravy.
  • Serve with "Red Cabbage and Potatoes."
