Ingredients

  • 2 lb Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking power
  • 1 tsp Oil or ghee

Method

  • Mix all the ingredients with enough water to make a soft and pliable dough
  • Divide dough into small balls
  • Roll out each ball into a flat circle
  • Oil liberally and sprinkle with dry flour evenly over surface
  • Fold by bringing together the flat dough into a smaller ball nd tuck it
  • Let dough relax for about 1 hour
  • Heat griddle or tawa
  • When hot roll out roti round and thin then cook turning over and oiling both sides cook evenly
  • When bubbles begin to show roti is done
  • Take off and clap well.
  • Yes u have to clap the roti.
  • Serve hot or cold with cheese, curry , anything u want
