Ingredients
- 1 large angel cake, broken in pieces
- 12 oz. milk chocolate
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1 pt. whipping cream, whipped
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Put cake in large mixing bowl; melt chocolate.
- Beat egg yolks and blend in chocolate.
- Beat egg whites quite stiff; add sugar and vanilla.
- Fold in whipped cream; add nuts.
- Fold in chocolate mixture well.
- Pour over cake crumbs.
- Put in a 9 x 13-inch dripper.
- Chill at least 2 days before.
- Put whipped cream on top with tiny cherry bits, if desired.
