Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Vegetable Oil
  • 3 pounds Chuck Roast
  • 2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
  • 18 teaspoons Seasoned Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 1 can (10 Oz. Size) Cream Of Celery Soup
  • 1 can Golden Mushroom Soup, 10 Ounce Can

Method

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  • Place oil in skillet over high heat.
  • Rub roast on all sides with garlic, salt and pepper.
  • Place roast in skillet to sear, 2-3 minutes.
  • Flip roast over and sear another 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat.
  • In a separate bowl, combine soups.
  • Spread about 2 Tablespoons of soup mixture in bottom of a 9x13 baking dish, (a smaller baking dish is fine too).
  • Place roast in baking dish.
  • Pour remaining soup mixture over roast.
  • Cover and bake for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until internal temperature reaches 170 degrees.
  • Remove from oven and let rest for 8-10 minutes.
  • Roast should be fork tender.
  • Uncover and serve.
