Ingredients
- 3 c. boiling water
- 3/4 c. rice (not Minute)
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 c. milk, scalded
- 3 beaten eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Simmer boiling water, rice, butter and salt for 15 minutes. Add scalded milk to rice mixture and simmer 15 more minutes.
- Add beaten eggs, sugar and vanilla.
- Cook for 3 to 4 more minutes. Pour into serving bowl.
- Cinnamon may be sprinkled on top.
