Ingredients
- 2 cup dry red wine
- 2 cup water
- 1/2 cup coarse salt (sea or kosher)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary leaves
- 1/2 cup (packed) light brown sugar
Method
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk until the salt and sugar are dissolved.
- The marinade will keep, covered, in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- *Marinate pork or beef ribs, covered, in the refrigerator for at least 3 to 4 hours (preferably over night), then smoke or grill over indirect heat.
