Ingredients

  • 10 slices rye bread, crumbed
  • 2 c. sauerkraut, not drained
  • 6 c. ground corned beef
  • 1/2 c. French dressing
  • 1/2 c. Thousand Island dressing
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 3 c. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/3 c. melted butter

Method

  • Put half of bread crumbs in casserole.
  • Add in order given, sauerkraut, corned beef, French dressing, Thousand Island dressing, mustard and Swiss cheese.
  • Put the other half of crumbs on top of cheese.
  • Pour melted butter over crumbs.
  • Add a little more sauerkraut juice, if necessary.
  • Bake at 350° for 20 to 40 minutes.
