Ingredients
- cucumbers
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- 2 tsp. dill weed
- 5 c. water
- 1 c. white vinegar
- 5 Tbsp. canning salt
Method
- Use 1 clean glass gallon jar with a lid.
- Pack cucumbers whole on ice chunks (or quarters) in jar.
- Add garlic and dill weed to jar of cucumbers.
- Bring water, vinegar and canning salt to a boil. Pour boiling hot over cucumbers and weigh cucumbers down so brine covers.
- Store on counter for 7 days.
- Cover; then refrigerate.
